Files, the site map and robots

Files

Files are everything your pages can show or link to: images and PDF or Word documents, up to 10 MB each. The type is read from the file itself, not from its name. Reference a file by its URL, in an image tag, in custom CSS as url(…), or as the address of a download link.

Site map

The site map shows how your pages fit together. Solid lines are the page tree (parent to child). Click a page to edit it. Turn on Show in-body links to also draw the links authors inserted with Insert page link… as dashed lines.

The sitemap.xml served to search engines is generated from your pages. It is read-only: publish, unpublish or restrict a page to change it. Restricted pages are left out on purpose, because listing an address that returns an error to everyone but a member would reveal that it exists.

Robots

The robots.txt at your site's root tells search engines what they may crawl. It is read-only and generated from the platform's routing.
